Open Rooms 0.1.6 Early Alpha Update Notes:

New Features:

  • Chapter 2 Model Completion: The model for Chapter 2 is now complete, though it is not yet ready for gameplay.
  • New Puzzle Added to Chapter 1: An additional puzzle has been introduced to Chapter 1.
  • Advanced Physics-Based Portal Object Handling System: A new system for handling objects similar to a portal has been added.
  • Locker Model Update: The locker model has been revised to include small windows, allowing players to see outside and wait for enemies to pass.
  • Various bugs have been addressed and fixed.

Upcoming Plans:

  • UI and Main Menu Updates: Enhancements to the user interface and main menu are planned.
  • Sound Integration for Animations: Adding sound effects for animations.
  • Completion of Chapter 2: Finalizing Chapter 2.
  • New Puzzle Mechanics: Introducing new puzzle mechanics.
  • General Piece Collection System: Replacing the current object-finding system with a general piece collection system, where players collect scattered pieces in chapters and gain access to animations based on the total number of pieces.
  • More Posters: Adding additional posters.
  • Stuff Bot Model Improvement: Enhancing the Stuff Bot model.
